Whew! We made it into November! Hopefully fall is here to stay! Thank you for all your Engagement with your child and their learning! The rigor has picked up and expectations remain high as we navigate through 2nd quarter. Allowing your child to have a "productive struggle" is part of the learning process, and we appreciate you emphasizing that they can, in fact, do hard things! Please continue to partner with your child's teacher and reach out with any questions or concerns along the way! Have a wonderful weekend. Remember, We ARE Eagles!

November Lunch Menu:
Join Your Child for Lunch:
Have a "Lunch Date" with your student at CCE! You will eat in the cafeteria with your student and their class. We kindly ask that you limit the number of adults attending to 2. No siblings or other children will be allowed to attend. You may bring fast food or a sack lunch into the cafeteria for your lunch date.
**Please only select 1 slot even if 2 adults are attending.
To ensure as many families as possible can enjoy lunch with their child, please limit sign-ups to a maximum of 2 per student per session. Any extra sign-ups will be removed to keep slots open for others. Thank you for your consideration!

Veterans Day Information and Activities:
CCE invites Veterans and active-duty military family members to join us for a special morning of honor and celebration!
Date: Wednesday, November 11th
Time: 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM
Check-in: Begins at 8:15 AM (Please enter through the South Gym Door)
Schedule of Events:
• 8:30 AM – Breakfast: Registered veterans and their CCE student(s) will enjoy breakfast together.
• Parade to Follow at 9:00 AM: Veterans and their CCE student(s) will parade through the hallways of CCE while all classes wave flags and show their appreciation! The parade will also travel through the back parking lot for family members and friends to see!
Important Reminders:
• Building Access: To ensure safety and space, only registered veterans and their CCE student(s) will be able to enter the building for the breakfast and the hall parade.
• Guest Viewing Area: Additional family members, friends, and guests are warmly invited to cheer on the veterans and watch the parade from the parking lot behind the building.
We look forward to honoring those who have served our country!

ParentSquare is Coming!
Please make sure you have downloaded the app and registered your cell phones and emails in ParentSquare. We will be moving most communication to ParentSquare in the coming months. Please reach out with any questions or issues getting signed up!
Birthday Treats:
We ask that birthday treats are ordered through the USD 232 Cafe. All orders must be placed a week in advance of the date you'd like the treats delivered. If you'd like to do a trinket bag with no food, for students in your child's class that is completely fine too! Due to the amount of allergies, NO outside food will be allowed for treats.
