Something to Yelle About

WHAT A TREAT IT IS TO BE THESE

KIDDOS IN HAYNation!

Hello from the Yelle.

Halloween week is always fun in its own way each year. And this year was no different.

In the big picture above, which I use each week as a way to highlight and show what we were able to accomplish during the week, there are many pictures of students in their Halloween costumes today. They show such wonderful spirit, creativity, fun, and smiles. I couldn't resist to just put it as our Big Picture for the week. This week's #PositiveSignThursday message was how it is such a TREAT to be with these kids each day in #HAYNation and it really is such a phenomenal treat!

These and the other pictures below that I have snapped throughout the week in and around the classrooms really do relay a story of the phenomenal accomplishments our students and teachers achieved this week. Please check them out below and all over our Instagram feed to help to tell the tremendous story we are writing this year.

There's no school Wednesday, so what a great way to burn off that left over Halloween candy and support our school!

All are welcome, just mention HAY at check-in and start jumping and playing laser tag with your friends. Up to 30% of all ticket sales will go back to HAY PTO!! The more HAY kids that join, the more money goes to our school!

And, there is word on the street, that Mr. Geoghegan and Mr. Bielawa will be there

for the first hour to play and have fun with the kids!

Anything But A Backpack Day Is Coming!

Time to get inventive! With a food pantry donation you will have the opportunity to come to school with "ANYTHING but a backpack." Want to carry all your stuff in a pizza box? go for it. You think all your pencils will fit in a cooking pot, great! A roller suitcase is more your jam.. sounds good to us!
