UPCOMING DATES!
- October 19: Last day for Teacher Tribute forms to count on our grade-level competition, but we will take nominations ALL YEAR! Thanks!
- October 20, 21, 22: Kindergarteners to SPARK Science Center (Look for information from your child's teacher to know which date your child will go.)
- October 22: Pink Out Spirit Day
- October 26: OPEN HOUSE! 5-7 (Please come for your assigned time -- teachers will be available during their grade-level time only. Thanks!)
- October 26-30: BOOK FAIR & RED RIBBON WEEK (Dress up days below!)!
- October 27, 28: 3rd Grade / 2nd Grade FA Music Programs (See Details Below!) -- 3rd grade parents will be able to visit the book fair with their student after the program for 30 minutes!
- October 28: 1st Grade Field Trip to Denton Valley Farms
- October 29: Fall Pictures
- October 30: Storybook Character Spirt Day AND Early Release Day -- Transportation changes must be made by 12:15, and we cannot have guests for lunch on Early Release days. Thanks!
- November 11: Veterans Day Breakfast (Please RSVP below!)
- November 12: PTO's TOUCH A TRUCK EVENT!
- November 16: UIL Meet
- November 16 & 17: 2nd Grade Field Trip to the Planetarium
- November 20: Early Release -- Hats for $1
- November 23-27: THANKSGIVING BREAK!

Your child can support PTO on Early Release days by wearing a hat for $1!
We will only allow hats on SPIRIT DAYS (free!) and EARLY RELEASE DAYS (for $1)!
Important Reminders:
* Thanks for getting your child to school by 7:45 when school starts! We want to maximize every instructional minute with our students!
* IF your child is off campus during our attendance taking time of 9:40, he or she will be marked absent for the day (even if he or she is here for part or even most of the day). If it's for a medical appointment, please provide a note, so we can allow for attendance credit. Thanks!
* Remember the BACK doors will close promptly at 7:45, so if you are running late at drop off time, please drop off at the front. Thanks!
* Please consider joining our Wylie East PTO!
* Remember if you need to make a change to your child's transportation or pick up early, we need that to be done before 2:30 (12:15 on Early Release Days!) so it does not disrupt our dismissal routine or jeopardize student safety.
* On Early Release days we cannot accommodate guests at lunch due to the change of schedules. Thanks for understanding!
