Good afternoon,

We are progressing through IAR testing and students have been doing great. We completed all three Math exams this week and will be completing IAR testing with the ELA portion next week. Please remind students to bring a charged chrome book each day and wired earbuds. We have a large amount of them, but it would help to have students bring in back ups as well.

Next week will mark the end of IAR testing for the year and the remaining test will be for 8th graders only when they take the Illinois Science Assessment in their Science classes.

Acompáñenos el 9 de abril de 6:00 a 7:30 p.m. en la Oficina Central para un taller para padres, impartido en español y dirigido por la invitada especial Cristina Sanchez-Lopez. En este taller, explicaremos el proceso del IEP y compartiremos estrategias para apoyar las necesidades de aprendizaje y desarrollo del lenguaje de su hijo/a. Salga del taller sintiéndose informado/a, con confianza y listo/a para apoyar a su hijo/a en cada paso del camino.

The Harvard Cross Country Team is collaborating with the The City of Harvard to host the first annual Hornet Hustle. A Lions Park 5K Fun Run & Cross Country Fundraiser. A community event to support our local cross country programs and celebrate the exciting expansion of the walking path at Lions Park!

On April 11th, 2026, Lions Park and The City of Harvard are partnering to extend the current walking path, creating even more space for fitness, family time, and outdoor fun. We will kick off the project during our 5K event with a special ceremony hosted in collaboration with The City of Harvard. This event will be for competitive runners, casual joggers, or those who want to walk for a cause. This event is for everyone!
