Dear Torringford Families,

April is here, and Torringford is buzzing with excitement! Our students are learning, growing, and earning PAWSOME cards for showing respect and responsibility—we’re so proud of them.

Thank you to all the families who joined us for Parent/Teacher Conferences. Your partnership makes a big difference. As we head into the final trimester, please reach out to your child’s teacher anytime with questions or concerns.

Students will soon be showing their learning on district assessments. Third graders will begin the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) on May 5th. A good night’s sleep and positive encouragement go a long way—thank you for helping your child feel confident and ready to shine!

With Tiger Pride,

Mrs. Galullo (Principal) & Mrs. Austin (Assistant Principal)

Finishing Strong & The Power of Being Present - Every Day Counts!

As we enter the final stretch of the school year, we want to encourage all our Tigers to finish strong!

These last few months are packed with exciting projects, field trips, and opportunities to solidify everything learned since September.

To make the most of this time, consistent attendance is key. We want to see our students' smiling faces in the halls every day they are healthy!

  • Why it matters: Every day in the classroom is a chance to connect with friends and build confidence before summer.

  • A Healthy Reminder: While we strive for perfect attendance, please continue to keep students home if they are feeling unwell to keep our whole "Pride" healthy.

Let’s keep that Tiger energy high all the way to the last bell!

Welcome to the Streak, Officer Patel!

We are thrilled to give a "Tiger Roar" welcome to our new ASO, Arek Petlik!

Officer Patel joins Torringford School with a mission to keep our campus safe and welcoming. Whether he's at the entrance or walking the halls, his focus is ensuring our students and staff can focus on what they do best: learning. Next time you see Officer Patel, please stop and say hello. Welcome aboard, Arek!

🍎 Help Us Keep the "Well" in Wellness 🍎

We all know that when our Tigers feel their best, they do their best! Our teachers are wonderful at supporting your children in the classroom, and we want to make sure our Health Office is just as prepared.

To help us provide the quickest and best care, please remember to CC our school nurses (Nurse Allison or Nurse Denise) whenever you email a teacher about a medical update or health concern. This helps us keep records up-to-date and ensures your child gets exactly what they need

to stay happy, healthy, and ready to learn!

If you have any health concerns,

please don't hesitate to reach out to Nurse Allison or Nurse Denise!
