Administration Message
Greetings SJPII Families,
This Sunday, November 1, we celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints, when we remember the saints who showed us how to live with faith, kindness, and love for others.
In this weekend’s Gospel (Matthew 5:1–12a), Jesus shares the Beatitudes, reminding us that we are blessed when we show mercy, make peace, care for others, and stand up for what is right. These are simple but powerful ways we can live out our faith each day.
At JPII, we see these values in the many ways our students care for one another and contribute to our school community. Our Leadership students have been bringing plenty of school spirit to the Halloween season through initiatives like Spooky Dodgeball, haunted houses, and selling Witch’s Brew (money raised will be donated to charity). These are wonderful examples of students working together, having fun, and finding ways to make a difference in the lives of others.
As we continue to live our theme, Rooted. United. Sent., we are reminded that living our faith is about the choices we make every day and how we use our gifts to help others.
As we head into the Halloween weekend, we wish all our families a fun and safe time! Whether you are out trick-or-treating or celebrating at home, please remember to stay safe, travel with trusted adults, and check treats before enjoying them.
We hope you enjoy the weekend with family and friends. May God bless you with a safe and happy Halloween!
