Week in Review Week in Review

What an incredible start to the school year. In just one week we’ve hosted Link Crew 9th Grade Orientation, distributed laptops, held a pep assembly, kicked off our first community event (Build a Burger), had a special visit from the interim superintendent and district leaders, and of course opened our doors to 1,400 students. None of this happens without planning, organization, and long hours. Huge thank you to everyone who made the first week such a success.

The only bummer from last week was having to cancel Friday’s football game against Ballard. The smoke was intense, and with an air quality index over 100, we can’t play. For those who purchased tickets, refunds will be coming soon. Please know we’re already working hard to reschedule the game!

That said, I can’t stress enough how incredible the first week of school was. Our students, staff, and community showed up strong, and it’s clear we’re already on our way to reaching our full potential this year.

Ingraham PRIDE Ingraham PRIDE

Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Diversity, & Encouragement

PRIDE stands for Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Diversity, and Encouragement. These are the core values that guide the way we learn, lead, and support one another at Ingraham.

When staff see students demonstrating PRIDE in their actions (whether it’s helping a classmate, showing integrity, or pushing through a challenge) they recognize it by filling out a PRIDE card. That card is then delivered to the student to celebrate and appreciate their positive impact.

We encourage you to take time to talk with your student about what PRIDE means to them, and how they can show these values both at school and in the community.
