Congratulations to current and former BFA students on their attendance at the 2025 Green Mountain Girls State program! Rising seniors Molly Bernard and Sophia Oszurek are attending Girls State as delegates for BFA this year and both won state offices during the program, Molly as Lt. Governor and Sophia as State Auditor. Also attending are MacKenzie Smith (class of ‘25) and Rachel Ledoux (class of ‘24), who both attended in the past and returned this year as counselors.

More exciting news from the D1 State Softball Championship game! This photo is of the two "Baker Award" winners in memory of Chris Baker, BFA Class of 1995 and former Softball Coach at Essex High School. The award will be presented annually to a Softball senior from Essex and BFA, and was presented to Avery Casavant of Essex and Amelia Weber of BFA before the start of the Essex vs BFA recent Championship game at Castleton. Congratulations Amelia Weber!
