A Heartfelt Thank You for Our Earth Day Celebration!
A massive thank you to all the families, students, and volunteers who joined us this past Saturday to celebrate Earth Day! It was truly inspiring to see our school community come together on a weekend to show some love for our planet.
The energy on campus was electric as we tackled a variety of hands-on activities. Our volunteers stayed busy with:
Garden & Neighborhood Care: From sprucing the school gardens to our Adopt-a-Block neighborhood cleanup, our grounds look revitalized.
Sustainability Skills: Families learned the "dirt" on composting and enjoyed the calming art of tea making with fresh herbs and butterfly pea flowers.
Creative Expression: The campus was filled with music and vibrant Earth-themed art, reminding us why we protect our fragile ecosystem
Eco-Fun: Our younger students had a splash with water play, learning about conservation through exploration.
This event wouldn't have been possible without the dedicated hands and joyful spirits of our staff and volunteers. Thank you for modeling environmental stewardship for our children and for making our school—and our world—a little greener!
