$4,000 Distributed to Unit 2 &3 Employees Tomorrow..... Check Your Bank Account! $4,000 Distributed to Unit 2 &3 Employees Tomorrow..... Check Your Bank Account!

Most Unit 2 and Unit 3 Employess Can Expect A Check!

Just in case you have been under a rock for the last few weeks or more seriously out of commission due to some critical matter, tomorrow is Four Grand Friday. Your union negotiations team has negotiated a $4000.00 bonus for most of our members and the payout is May 30, 2025. This money was not easy to obtain, as we had initially asked for a $10,000.00 bonus, but PGCPS resisted and looked at us like we were crazy. Nevertherless we finally agreed on the $4000.00, escpecially in these most uncertain economic times in America.

We also did not want to push so hard forcing them to give more and ultimately putting our members at risk of being harmed through furloughs, rifts and the like. Treat yourself and/or your family to something nice. Have a great end of the school year and expect your 3% COLA and step on July 1st. If you're already at the top, expect your 3% and your 1% differential.

Whatever it is that your're receiving, please know that the union leadership is in your corner all the way and will stand on business whenever necessary.

Twelve Month AP Scale Tells It All Twelve Month AP Scale Tells It All

Twelve Month Assistant Principal Pay

There seems to be a little confusion around the payscale for those that are going from 11 month AP to 12 month AP. I will attempt to explain this the best way I can to alleviate some of the confusion.

If you are offered and accept a twelve month AP position today, May 29th, 2025, and you are currently on step seven as an 11 month AP, you will automatically become a step seven 12 month employee.

Your salary today will reflect on the current scale, but on July 1st, when the step increase and COLA kick in, you will receive your step, % 3COLA and see your increase in pay.

If you are an 11 month AP at step 15 (top of the scale) you will go to a 12 month AP and receive your 3% COLA and a 1% differential.

ASASP Budget Needs Your Approval Now! ASASP Budget Needs Your Approval Now!

Your Approval Is Needed Now for Our 2026FY Budget

Please be informed that you will receive an email this evening at the request of your colleagues that were in attendance at our annual May Budget Meeting last night. About 35 ASASP members and staff were in attendance in all when it was decided by vote to send the budget out to every member so that each and every member would have the opportunity to be heard.

The email is a request for your approval of our annual operating budget here at ASASP. Please look over the proposed budget and vote as soon as possible, as the month of May is coming to a screeching halt in about 48 hours.

You will have until the very last minute in the month (11:59pm on 5-31-25) to vote. Please make your voice heard and help us to be able to continue fighting for you.
