Naples Park Families,

It is with great enthusiasm that I can continue to be part of the Amazing Shark Team for the 2025-2026 school year. I am proud of ALL the hard work, dedication and effort that all of you and your students put into the 2024-2025 school year and am happy to announce that we continue to be an A rated school! This is a victorious achievement that shows how true effort and dedication, even during the most ever-changing times, brings out the best in all of us. This year’s theme, “Naples Park Quest for Success,” will give us the opportunity to focus on school-wide and individual goals and work together as a collective team. “The Key to Success is to Focus on Goals, Not Obstacles!”

We have goals we strive to achieve. “Do Something Everyday That Brings You Closer to Your Goals!” Mrs. Kovis and I look forward to seeing all our determined staff and students on campus in the next few weeks. Our shark students are going to have an incredible year where they are happy, safe, and engaged in school. Our students will reach greater goals, joys, and accomplishments. This will be a year to remember!

Sincerely,

Stephanie Jonas

I am thrilled to join the amazing Naples Park Family as your new assistant principal. I live right here in Naples with my husband and three boys, and I’m beginning my fifth year as a CCPS administrator after serving as a teacher, coach, and district office staff member in both Florida and Illinois.

I most recently served as the assistant principal at Lely Elementary and am so excited to now be part of the Shark family! I’m looking forward to working alongside the incredible Naples Park staff and building strong partnerships with our parents and families. Together, we can create a supportive, engaging, and empowering environment where every student can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

I am deeply committed to supporting the unique needs of every student and ensuring they feel seen, valued, and inspired to do their best. I believe that when schools and families work together, amazing things happen for children.

I love traveling, spending time with my family, attending sports games to cheer for Chicago teams and Notre Dame, and most of all—being with students, who are truly the best part of every day!

Welcome Back

We hope you had a wonderful summer and are ready to dive into a new year of learning. We have an amazing group of teachers and staff who are here to support you every step of the way. They're passionate about helping your child succeed and will do everything they can to help him or her reach academic success.

At NPE, we believe strongly in PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) and our school-wide expectations are built on PBIS. In addition to your child's teacher, we will also hold school-wide PBIS assemblies throughout the year to review expectations, disciplinary consequences and the many positive rewards students can earn!

Overview of PBIS at Naples Park:

Expectations...

  • Be Kind
  • Respectful
  • Responsible
  • Ready to Learn

*NPE expectation posters attached below by location area

    Rewards for Positive Behaviors...

    • Earn FINtastics to spend at classroom/school store
    • Classroom Shark Prides
    • Positive Referrals
    • Shark Leader of the Month

Disciplinary consequences vary based on the behavior/action. You can find more information in our CCPS Code of Student Conduct.

Thank you for helping to review these expectations with your child and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

    Sincerely,

    Krystal Kovis

Plan ahead! It is important that students are at school, on time, every day! Every moment of learning is important to your child’s development and progress.

*Please note- If your child is absent for any reason, please call the front office at 377-7700 to let us know why your child is absent so we can properly notate that. Per Florida Statute (1003.26(1)(b), students with 5 unexcused [or validated] absences within a calendar month, or 15 unexcused [or validated] within a 90 day period are considered truant and an attendance meeting may be scheduled with the school and district personnel.
