After many, many years of our parents relying on Sign Up Genius to find opportunities to earn their family's 20 Volunteer Hours, and then reporting those hours on our paper volunteer form, we have a new electronic method for our Volunteer Program!!

INTRODUCING:

TRACK IT FORWARD

• Go to the BDCHS Track It Forward page
• Click "CLICK HERE TO REGISTER"
• FIll out the info
• Each parent/grandparent/etc can set up their own account (allows two family members to volunteer at the same event)
• List all BDCHS children in the family
• Include the Graduation Year of your youngest BDCHS student
• Submit your information
• You are ready to earn volunteer hours!

• Log into your account on "TrackItForward.com"
• Find the tab "EVENTS"
• Click on "EVENTS"
• Current ITEM donation requests are listed above the calendar
• Item donation request will have a deadline for donations listed
• The Calendar events are for on-campus in-person volunteering
• The date listed is the date volunteers are needed on campus
• CLICK on the "Event" or "Item Donation Listing" to see specific needs

• You will receive a confirmation email
• Email has all of the information you need!
• If the sign up was for a SPECIFIC item, there will be a link to that item. Please purchase that exact item. (To see the "live link" to the item, you need to access your account via the website - NOT thru the app).
• For other items, many times a certain brand or size is listed on the sign up. PLEASE honor the details of the donation request, as it helps our volunteers greatly!
• Note the DATES items are requested and please deliver on time. This helps our volunteers!!
• If your item is a perishable item, please double check the date it is requested...those items are requested on a specific date for freshness. Please also check the expiration dates on your donated perishables.
• You still have the option to drop donated items off at the school in-person, or to ship the via amazon or other means. Your confirmation email will have instructions on how to submit your hours AFTER the items have been delivered to the school.

SUPER-EASY PROCESS!

• Take a selfie while volunteering, or a pic of items when you drop them off, or a screenshot of the delivery confirmation
• AFTER you have completed your donation or volunteer shift, you will log in to your account
• Click on "LOG HOURS"
• Then be sure to click the blue "associate hours to an event" if available and click on the "shift" or donation request you are reporting
• Fill out all fields
• Upload your selfie or donation pic
• Submit
• Remember - for item donations, you earn ONE HOUR per "sign up" or "shift" that you rsvp for. Sometimes an individual sign up might request several items. You earn ONE HOUR per SIGN UP.
• You need to log EACH sign up or shift separately. Do not group multiple donation sign ups into one hour log.
• Once your hours are approved, you will see your current count of volunteer hours completed on your account!

Families MUST sign up for a Track It Forward account. There are no fees for the account, and only school officials and Volunteer Coordinators will have access to the volunteer information (Just like in the past years with our Sign Up Genius and paper forms). School will also have a device at the front office where families can log their hours as they are dropping off donations or volunteering.

Summer Gently-Used Uniform sale will begin soon - watch for your S'more Newsletter! We are still accepting gently used uniforms. If you need to drop them off at the school, you can do so during summer hours. We appreciate your donations. Monies raised from these sales help support school events all year long and we love saving you money!!

Our 2025-2026 spirit shirt and sweatshirts are in the works right now. We will notify you as soon as they are available for purchase, as students can wear them on Fridays and sweatshirts every day.

Many of our summer hours will be double, sometimes even triple for working out in hot sun. Be sure to register on the BDCHS Track It Forward platform so that you can start earning those hours right away! OUR NEW VOLUNTEER PLATFORM IS NOW LIVE!!!

We are still looking for some excited parents to join our PAC leadership team. If you have reached out before and need clarification, please email us. If you are interested in learning more or helping out over the summer and/or fall, please email us. We will be having a leadership meeting in July and would love to welcome some new faces.
