At Cupid’s Cabaret, Students Run the Show

The WHS Music Department spread the love last week with Cupid's Cabaret! The event offered swoon-worthy performances by live musicians, comedy skits, and more for guests and raised over $5,000 for students to visit the Nashville Heritage Festival this spring.

Students organized nearly every aspect of this production. Senior Elana Wendorf served as Cupid Cabaret’s student director, and performances featured Cortes Martinez on guitar, Cruz Martinez on bass, Clark Sims on drums, as well as several other student ensembles and soloists across WHS band, orchestra, and choir groups. Thank you to everyone who turned out to watch our WHS musicians in action!

Help Us Decide Times for Remote Spring Conferences!

Spring conferences are just around the corner! Although Wenatchee High School conferences are primarily held arena-style in the hallways, we know that isn't the best fit for everyone. We want to hear from you how we can better serve the parents/guardians who prefer to attend conferences remotely.

If you prefer to attend conferences remotely via Google Meet, please take a couple minutes to fill out this two-question survey and tell us how we can provide the best conference experience.

Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held Friday, March 20th. Questions? Contact our main office at (509) 663-8117.

Phone-Free Schools Policy Starts Its Second Semester

Help us congratulate our students on making it through their first semester with the new phone-free schools policy at Wenatchee High School! This year, WHS has seen increased participation in athletics and activities and zero events of cyberbullying on campus this year. We’re proud of students for embracing Panther P.R.I.D.E. throughout the first semester by putting themselves out there, embracing more face-to-face connection, and engaging more with class activities.

Help us maintain these positive changes by encouraging your student to lock phones in their pouch before entering the building or leave it at home. We’re noticing that many students upon entry are showing an empty pouch and stating they do not have their phone with them. Please have a conversation with your student about adhering to the policy. We’re here to help you be successful! Contact our office with any questions about phone-free schools at (509) 663-8117.
