Principal's Address
Dear Parents and Carers
Welcome back to a busy and exciting Term 3! I hope you all had a relaxing break and enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends.
It has been wonderful to welcome our students back to school. There were certainly plenty of smiling faces on the first day, although I suspect many of the biggest smiles belonged to the parents! It has been fantastic to see our students return with positive attitudes, ready to learn and reconnect with their friends.
Even more pleasing has been the way our students have returned, demonstrating the values that make St Anthony's such a special place. We have seen students greeting others with a smile, using good manners, showing kindness and respect and looking out for one another. These simple acts help create a welcoming school where everyone feels safe, valued and connected.
A sincere thank you to our parents and carers for your continued support in ensuring students arrive each day wearing the correct school uniform. It has been wonderful to see our students looking so smart and taking pride in wearing their uniform.
This term, our Year 4, 5 and 6 students will enjoy the opportunity to participate in badminton as part of their Physical Education program. It’s a fantastic chance for students to learn new skills, stay active and experience a different sport. A big thank you to Mrs Francis for organising this exciting opportunity for our students.
Please remember to regularly check our live school calendar on our school’s website for specific dates and any updates throughout the term.

Have you discovered the new Play Space at Wanneroo Regional Museum?
Wanneroo Regional Museum has a new Children's Play Space, and word is already getting around! It's had a busy first stretch over the school holidays, and it's starting to feel like a regular meet-up spot for mums and toddlers in the area. Designed for children aged 0 to 8, the space draws on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF v2.0) and approaches like Conceptual PlayWorlds, inviting children and the grown-ups with them to step into a shared story world together. It's a calm, nature-inspired space (no screens, no overstimulation) with role-play, dress-ups and sensory play, a quiet corner for little ones who need a break, and lots of prompts for adults and kids to play and chat side by side - all building identity, connection, wellbeing, confidence, and communication. Fully accessible and free to visit, it's well worth a look if you're after somewhere new to take the little ones, new excursion venues for ELCs, or just a warm space to catch up with other families over a coffee.
