Academy Engineering Design 2

WHS Academy Engineering Design 2 students applied their skills in design, 3D modeling, and fabrication to create CO2 dragsters that met specific engineering requirements. They put their creations to the test on race day. Ms. Sernotti's class joined in on the fun, adding their own creative touch by decorating their own cars.

DELTA Kindness Week

DELTA students embraced the spirit of giving by collecting clothes, leading Kindness BINGO, and sharing Kindness Compliment lollipops and notes. To conclude the week, they toured Lunch Break of Monmouth County, exploring its Community Kitchen, clothing space, and career services. They also dined in the community hall to better understand food insecurity and generously donated $200 to the food pantry.

Message Regarding Doordash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc.

Please be advised, WHS will not accept food deliveries from services such as DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc. for students in our school. While we understand the convenience these services provide, they create significant disruptions within our main office. More importantly, allowing outside food/lunch deliveries raises concerns about the safety and security of our students and staff.

Please note: Parents and guardians are still permitted to drop off lunch for students who may have forgotten their meals. However, we ask that you coordinate these drop-offs directly through our main office to ensure a smooth process.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we prioritize the well-being and security of our school community.
