Spring Sports Recaps
Baseball -The 2026 season was a successful year for our baseball program, as we finished with a 15–10–1 record while consistently competing at a high level. Throughout the season, our team demonstrated resilience, growth, and a competitive spirit that contributed to success both on and off the field. A highlight of the year was Wilson Wells being named Ohio Division III Player of the Year, an honor that reflects not only his outstanding performance and dedication but also the culture of hard work, accountability, and teamwork within our program. In addition to that recognition, our program earned six All-League selections and four Central District honors, highlighting the depth of talent and commitment across our roster. We are proud of all that our team accomplished this season and look forward to building on that momentum in the years ahead.
Softball - The 2026 Blue Aces softball season was one filled with excitement. A team led by 5 seniors saw them compete each day against top competition. Through the ups and downs of the season, the team saw growth on and off the field. Highlights included beginning the season with a perfect game pitched by Josie Opfer (So.), a close loss (2-0) to undefeated Licking Valley and multiple players hitting multiple homeruns in a game, Aubrey Lackey (twice) and Avary King. While the team may have missed on some of its early season goals, it was one who played hard and continued to build the Blue Aces softball program legacy.

The 2026 season for the Granville Blue Aces JV lacrosse team was a strong year of development, growth, and team success. Finishing with a 7-4 record, the team showed steady improvement throughout the season and consistently competed with energy and determination.
Girls Lacrosse - The Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team finished with an overall record of 9-8 led by senior Captains Ellie Brower, Ava Phillips, and Evie Sanders. Their strong leadership and dedication to the game played a crucial role in our team's success this season.

Sports Performance & Athletic Training:
Middle School Spring Sports Recaps
Softball - This 7th grade season was the first real challenge in softball for many of the players this season. They got to see what the next level of competition looks like. It was not an easy season, but i believe the girls learned a lot about themselves and competitive softball. Most importantly the girls were overwhelmingly positive and grew into a close knit team by the end of the season.
I consistently saw growth, and determination from every player on the team. What stood out most to me was the way the girls continued to work hard, support one another, and show up with positive attitudes. I watched their confidence grow, their skills improve, and their teamwork become stronger. More than anything, I want them to know that they are worth far more than their performance in the field. Wind and losses do not define who they are. I’m grateful I got the opportunity to coach this group!
Track & Field - The Middle School Track and Field team had an excellent season, with the team collectively setting hundreds of personal records and trying new things.
The girls proved to be one of the very best teams in Ohio, winning LCLs by a huge margin and finishing no lower than 3rd in any invitational. The team was exceptionally balanced, with lots of points coming from exceptional relays (sprint and distance) and field events. Among major highlights - the 4x800 relay team of Shayleigh Larson, Moira Belles, Adele Bishop, and Audrey Bishop finished 1st at the OHSAA Middle School State Meet, setting a state record, while Audrey Bishop finished 4th in the 800. Other qualifiers to the state meet included Evie Mullett, Nyla White, and Emerson Kraus. The 4x8 team and Audrey Bishop also set school records, as did Emily Bruce in the shot put.
The boys got better as the season went on and finished a very close 2nd at LCLs. With a very talented group of 7th graders, the future looks very bright. At the OHSAA State Meet, Ryan Watson finished 2nd in the 200 Hurdles and 6th in the 100 Hurdles, and also set school records in both events. Hudson Coffing also set school records in the shot put and discus, as did the 4x800 relay of Colin Weaver, Frankie Aransky, Karl Tonnessen, and Bentley Pulliam.
