Dekaney students shine at French Symposium ✨
Junior Dhalila Rivera earned fourth place in Bande Dessinée, while sophomore Maravilha Macassco secured sixth place in the writing test, proof that talent (and a little French flair) goes a long way.
Big cheers to these Wildcats for representing Dekaney with creativity, confidence, and academic excellence—très bien! 👏
More than a dress—this was a confidence glow-up! 💖✨Spring ISD seniors walked into the district’s Community Engagement Center in search of a beautiful free prom dress but left with something far greater. At this year’s Graceful Gowns event, students found not only the perfect look for prom night, but also encouragement, confidence, and a community cheering them on. 👗💖
Through a boutique-style experience, students enjoyed gowns, shoes, jewelry, beauty items, lunch, and glam sessions—all while being uplifted by guest speakers who shared powerful messages of self-worth, resilience, and confidence.
Spring ISD extends its appreciation to the many volunteers, sponsors, and board members of the Graceful Gowns Initiative who made this event possible, including founder Shanté Thompson, and co-founder and vice president Trustee Kelly P. Hodges.
After earning the 2026 National Mark of Excellence Award and being named a national champion in their division, these talented musicians took their performance to the next level—representing Bailey at the prestigious Music for All National Festival in Indianapolis as one of only three middle school percussion groups in the country selected for the honor. 🎶
Spring ISD is incredibly proud of these students for showcasing their skill, heart and excellence on a national stage-proof that when Bailey performs, it’s nothing short of award-winning!
Officers earned first place in Jazz, Open and Contemporary, claimed Medium Officer Grand Champion, and took the top spot in At Large Officer Group (Over all officer groups). Team awards kept rolling in with first place in Novelty, Pom, Military and Hip Hop, plus the Precision Award for all team dances!
Shoutout to Kaylee Rogers for earning third place in the 11th-grade solo division! What a run for this powerhouse program as they locked in the threepeat with style, strength and serious talent! ✨
Big cheers for the Spring High School and Westfield High School boys golf teams for earning their spots at Regionals. These athletes showed focus, skill and plenty of grit on the course, and now 14-6A is heading to the next round in a big way. Congratulations to both teams on this exciting accomplishment! 🏌🏻
Spring ISD’s boys golf teams are bringing home the hardware! Spring High School’s boys golf team won district on Tuesday for the fourth consecutive year and has now qualified to represent Spring ISD at the Regional Golf Tournament for the fifth straight year. They’re headed to Eagle’s Bluff Golf Club in Bullard, Texas, with plenty of momentum and championship pride. Westfield High School also punched its ticket to Regionals, making this an exciting moment for Spring ISD golf. Big cheers to both teams for showing skill, focus, and grit every step of the way. 🏌🏻
Spring ISD Pre-K applications for the 2026-27 school year are now OPEN! The early years shape everything. Children ages 3 and 4 build critical skills in reading, problem-solving and social development that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. District data shows students who attend Spring ISD Pre-K perform stronger on third grade STAAR Reading and Math assessments. A strong start matters!
FREE PK3 is available for eligible 3-year-olds who live within district boundaries or are children of Spring ISD employees. FREE PK4 is open to qualifying 4-year-olds, regardless of residency. Space is limited at select campuses, so early application is key. Families should begin gathering required documents now so they are ready when the application goes live. Visit the Spring ISD Pre-K website to apply and secure your child’s seat. Big learning begins here. 💚 Click here for more information!
We are excited to invite your child to participate in our upcoming Saturday Extended Learning Opportunities on April 11 & 18. Extra support, fun activities and prizes. This year’s theme is “212° – Turning Effort into Power.” Check with your campus for times.
