Tappan Science Olympiad at Regionals!
Our Tappan Science Olympiad team competed at the Regional Tournament. Fourteen students represented Tappan across 22 challenging events, going head‑to‑head with schools from across the region. Their hard work throughout the season truly paid off, earning the team an impressive set of medals:
Experimental Design (Ananya, Yukttha & Sia)– 1st place
Boomilever (Ananya & River)– 2nd place
Dynamic Planet (Nicholas & Myra)– 3rd place
Crime Busters ( Ananya & Yukttha)– 3rd place
Circuit Lab (Gomathy & Yukttha)- 3rd
Potions and Poisons ( Ananya & Sia)– 3rd place
Scrambler (Myra & River) – 3rd place
Solar System (Caleb & Remy) – 3rd place
The Experimental Design team (Ananya , Yukttha and Sia) has now qualified for the State Tournament at Michigan State University on April 25.
We are incredibly proud of our students and thrilled that Tappan will be represented at the State competition for the second year in a row!

Tappan Players Donation Request
The Tappan Players are hard at work getting ready for the Shrek Jr. Production! We are hoping the Tappan Community with some needed items:
Jazz shoes
Suspenders
Carpet scraps
Old house paint
Plywood
Grey wigs and beards
Belts
Renaissance clothing
Frog ears
Granny apron
Fabric, elastic, thread and Velcro can always be used
Green leggings (Peter Pan)

Brown argyle socks

Clergy robe Corinthian boots (think medieval)

Chicken socks to the knees
Hippie beanies and slouchy hats

Community Closet Donation Request
Our Middle School Community Closet is currently in need of specific essential items to support our students with dignity and care. We are seeking new socks and underwear for both boys and girls in all sizes.
Additional donations needed:
• Hanging clothing racks
• Shoes in good condition (all sizes)
• Travel-sized hygiene products (deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.)
If you are able to donate, please send items to the main office with a note designating these items for the Community Closet. All clothing donations should be clean and in good condition; undergarments must be new and unopened.
Your generosity makes a direct and meaningful difference in the lives of our students. Thank you for helping us support our school community!
Pre-Order Your Tappan Middle School 2025-26 Yearbook!
A limited number of yearbooks are available each year. Pre-ordering now guarantees your child a copy.
Before ordering: Make sure you know the name of your child’s Advisory Teacher.
Go to www.yearbookforever.com to purchase a yearbook with a credit card, debit card, or PayPal.
The website offers many additional options if your student is interested. To order just the yearbook, enter “Tappan Middle School”, scroll down and select “YEARBOOK ONLY”.
Pre-purchased yearbooks and any optional add-ons will be delivered to students via Advisory classes in June.
