Dear Williams Families,

As you might have noticed we have increased our safety measures here at Williams. We ask for your patience and support for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that our goal is continued student safety.

Locked Gates-

During the first week of school we had an incident in which a Kindergarten student walked off campus from the office unnoticed by staff. The student was found and rejoined his family. We want to make sure that these incidents do not occur again. Staff has been trained on new site protocols and the following safety measures have been put in place:

All walk in and drive up gates will be closed by 9:00 AM
The gates will remain locked during instruction and opened 10 minutes before dismissal
The main walk up gate will remain open - for one point of entry

Front Doors Locked

Our front doors will be locked at all times
The office staff will let you in or call the main office

Classroom Doors Locked

All classroom doors will remained locked at all times

Raptor System- ID Check

Please bring your ID when coming onto campus
The Raptor system will cross reference multiple agencies and verify clearance
A day pass to stay on campus will be printed if clearance is granted

SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL -Nominations Due September 2, 2022

Looking for an opportunity to be more involved at Williams? If you are interested in school policy or budgets, you might enjoy serving on our School Site Council. This committee is a group of parents and teachers that work with the principal, Mr. Sanchez to develop, review and evaluate school improvement programs and the school budget. We currently have four Parent Member seats available on our SSC. Please be on the look out for the Williams School Site Council nomination ballots being sent this week or click on the link below to nominate yourself or any other Williams parent.
