"Best Communities for Music Education" Designation for District 41

Glen Ellyn School District 41 has been honored for the 3rd year in a row with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation for their outstanding support and commitment to music education. Now in its 26th year, the Best Communities for Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement for providing music access and education to all students. District 41 is one of 29 school districts in Illinois to receive this award.

To qualify for the Best Communities designation, districts answered detailed questions about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, support for the music program and community music-making programs. Responses were verified by school officials and reviewed by the leading arts educational research firm, WolfBrown.

A huge congratulations to all who support and elevate music in our schools.

Celebrating Outstanding Staff in D41

Last night, District 41 came together to celebrate the incredible dedication and accomplishments of staff across the district at the annual Recognition Event. The evening honored employees for their years of service, recognized 2025 retirees, and celebrated recipients of the Those Who Excel Awards. Congratulations to all! #WeAreD41 (see photos from the event below:)
