Principal's Message

Hello Panther Families!

Thank you for joining us for Back To School Night 2026! If you weren't able to join us, be sure to check out the syllabus for each of your students' classes. We look forward to supporting their academic success all year.

This week we were excited to host our Club Rush, where students were able to sign up for dozens of different clubs and interest groups to get connected! If your student hasn't found a way to get involved yet, there are lots of spaces in clubs, athletics, and the arts!

Have a wonderful three-day weekend, and we'll see your students again on Tuesday, September 8th.

Join us at the Next Home Football Game!

It is Military Night on Sept. 25! Come watch the game as we honor Veterans!

Get Involved with Panther After Hours!

We are excited to invite all students to participate in Panther After Hours (PAH), our 100% FREE before- and after-school program for all Vista High students! PAH provides a safe, welcoming space for Panthers to socialize, build community, receive academic tutoring, build healthy habits, and explore exciting new activities. From Strength & Fitness and Ceramics to our Homework Lounge & Tutoring, College Readiness & FAFSA workshops, E-Sports, Auto Tech, and Mariachi, there is truly something for everyone! No experience or advance sign-up is required—students can simply drop in and join any activity that catches their eye. Morning activities begin daily at 7:30 AM, after-school activities run from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM, and a free snack is served every day at 4:00 PM in front of the nurse's office.

We have two special events this month as well. September 14-18 seniors are invited to come make senior memory boxes. Seniors should bring a box and PAH will provide all the materials to build a special place to store mementos from senior year! And then on September 30th, PAH Ceramics is hosting a Ceramic Pumpkin Workshop. No experience is needed and all students are invited. Last year, this event was a hit!
