Dear Wessagusset Families,
Dear Families,
We had a fantastic start to the 2022-2023 school year! It was so wonderful to have our students back at school…the first few days were filled with smiles and warmth as students met their teachers, said hello to old friends, and met new ones! Our dedicated teachers are focused on building relationships with their students, establishing classroom routines, and ensuring that each student has a successful school year. We can already tell that this school year is going to be a great one! Please see below for helpful information and updates:
On Friday we practiced our school-wide cafeteria and recess expectations. Grades 1-5 reviewed the rules that keep us all safe during lunch and recess. Students did an excellent job practicing these routines and discussing the importance of positive behavior during these times. Kindergarten students will have their turn to practice this week!
We are fortunate to have many new staff members joining the Wessagusset family this year. Be on the lookout for their friendly faces! Please join us in welcoming:
Mr. Matt Clougherty, Physical Education
Ms. Alexandria Pesa, Music
Ms. Katherine Twigg, Art (beginning 9/19)
Ms. Michelle Fay, Speech Language Pathologist
Mrs. Jackie Neenan, Math Coach
Ms. Nichole Seppala, Kindergarten ESP (Education Support Professional)
Mrs. Katie Fischer, Kindergarten ESP
Ms. Winnie Wachira, K/1 ESP
Ms. Marianne Reardon, K/1 ESP
Mr. Patrick White, Gr. 1-3 ESP
Mrs. Wendy Hutchins, Gr. 1-3 ESP
Mrs. Sabrina Imbruno, ESP

- More than two decades later, it is still so important to take a moment to acknowledge the attacks of September 11. We honor all those who lost their lives on that devastating day, and keep all of those whose lives were affected in our thoughts.
Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. We are happy to help, and look forward to working together to ensure a successful school experience for your child.
Enjoy your day! Go Pats!
Sincerely,
Lindsey Frat
