A Message from Ms. ML
Hello MHS Students/Families:
We are back to school and it’s been such a pleasure meeting our new students and welcoming back our returning students. I am excited to help our students engage with their classes, encourage them to try new things, and remember the MHS staff is there to support their growth and curiosity.
This year I’m the MHS counselor for all returning students and Ms Carlson is the MHS counselor for all 9th and new students to MHS. However, we will be everyone’s counselor when either one of us is on the MHS Campus. Speaking of hours, I will be at MHS on Mondays and Fridays and at the College and Career Center (room 20) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you want to talk about post-high school planning, and it doesn’t work for you to see me on Mondays or Fridays, please use this link to my CCC calendar. I have 30 minute windows to meet with you. While everyone is welcome to make an appointment with me, I will prioritize seniors as they are busy working on their plans. Thanks in advance for understanding.
College Campus visits start at the end of August and will be held in the CCC office (room 20). I will explain to Seniors/Juniors the process of signing up for these visits next week. These are great opportunities for students to ask questions to the admissions officers directly. This year 10th and 9th grade students will be allowed to attend 2 rep visits.
I hope that you all enjoyed your 1st week back to school and I look forward to spending time with you at our all school field trip on Monday 8/19/24.
See everyone on Monday!
Ms M-L

Best of 2024!
I am happy to announce that Millennium High School is the WINNER of the Parents' Press Reader's Choice Award! We were selected as the top alternative high school in the East Bay. Thank you to all the students, families, staff, and friends who voted! It is a well-deserved recognition of the dedication and incredible efforts of our school community!
School Breakfast and Lunch
We wanted to let families know that the Piedmont Unified School District will continue to offer a nutritious breakfast and lunch every day at no cost. If you'd like to have extra entrees and/or snacks, please click the link below for more information.
The PHS Parents' Club is also asking for some enthusiastic volunteers to help serve food to our students. You can sign up at the link here. Thank you in advance for the generosity of your time and commitment to our school. We could not do this without you.
Pickup/Dropoff Along Magnolia Corridor
As you may know, there is a lot of construction happening on the Magnolia corridor, particularly across from Piedmont High School. At this time, we do not anticipate they will be done by the start of school. We ask that families practice patience and build in extra time to get to school. We know when it is all complete, our students will have access to a beautiful aquatic facility.
As a reminder, the white curb near the school is for pickup and dropoff only. Please do not park there and be courteous to your fellow parents by moving along promptly so we can get all students dropped off and picked up as smoothly and safely as possible.
Millennium High School Parents' Club
All parents and guardians of students attending Millennium High School are members and part of the Parents’ Club! Everyone is invited to get involved! Membership to the MHS Parents’ Club is free!
NEW DATE! The next Millennium HS Parents' Club meeting will be held on Thursday, 8/29 at 7:00 PM via Zoom. Click here to join!
We invite parents and supporters to make a donation to the Parents' Club. Donations will be used to support events for our whole school community. Contributions of all sizes are appreciated. Everyone is encouraged to give any amount you would like. Click here to make a donation!
The Parents' Club provides essential support to Millennium High School. For questions, contact Rachel Osajima, Parents' Club Board President, at rachelosajima@gmail.com or 510-919-5044.
The Giving Campaign
Congratulations to our Piedmont community on reaching a total fundraising achievement of over $3,300,000. The Giving Campaign is the largest annual fundraiser for our students and schools, and your generosity and commitment make it all possible.
Thank you to everyone who generously pitched in to support our students for the 2024-25 school year! If you haven't gotten a chance to donate yet, Piedmont Education Foundation will continue to accept gifts in support of Piedmont’s schools at www.piedmontedfoundation.org/donate/.
