Calling all 6th grade parents!

When your child turns 12 he/she is required to be vaccinated for Tdap and Meningitis. You have 2 weeks from your child's birthdate to bring me the vaccine record or your child cannot come to school. Don't want the vaccine? Then come in and sign an exemption form.

Please remember to bring me the Dr. form if your child failed vision or hearing screen.

Please call me if your child comes in with a brace/wrap /cast.

Cooler temps have brought in lots of illness:

Stomach bug- Your child must be out of school for 24 hours from the last throw up or diarrhea.

Strep Throat-Your child must stay home for at least 24 hours after the first dose of antibiotics and 24 hours of fever free. Please let me know if your child has strep so I can get a note out to the classroom.

Coughs , coughs and more coughs

Whooping cough and pneumonia are going around the valley but no confirmed cases here.

Happy weekend,
