National Merit Commended Students
Congratulations to our six Aledo High School seniors named National Merit Commended Students!
We’re proud of Reilly, Andrew, Oliver, Olivia, Julia, and James for this incredible academic achievement!
Art
Congratulations, Ayannis Morales!
AHS Senior Ayannis had her artwork, “Book Brain,” selected for the 2026 txEDCON – TASA/TASB Exhibition in Houston!
We’re proud to see Ayannis represent Aledo ISD alongside student artists from across Texas!
Band
The rain may have delayed the day, but it certainly didn’t dampen the spirit, energy, and determination of these kiddos! They took the field for their first contest of Bandtober and left it all out there!
🎶 CONGRATULATIONS to the Aledo Bearcat Regiment on an incredible 4th-place finish at the HEB ISD Marching Contest this past Saturday at Pennington Field!
From the first note to the final step, these students demonstrated the hard work, dedication, and commitment they have poured into this season. Their performance is a reflection of countless hours of rehearsal, teamwork, and a commitment to getting better every time they take the field.
We are incredibly proud of this group and excited to see what the rest of Bandtober has in store!
Clubs and Organizations Parent Consent Form
In accordance with Senate Bill 12 passed by the 89th Texas Legislature, school districts are required to obtain written parental consent before allowing a student to participate in a school-sponsored club or organization.
Please review the list of clubs and organizations at your child's school and indicate your consent below. A separate form will need to be completed for each student.
At Aledo High School, the safety and security of our students, staff, and families is always a top priority. One way we strengthen campus safety is by requiring all students to wear their school-issued ID badge whenever they are on school property during the school day.
Students received their ID badges during Bearcats Are Back. If your student did not receive their ID, they can pick it up in the cafeteria during their assigned lunch.
Please help us reinforce this important safety expectation by reminding your Bearcat to wear their ID badge around their neck and keep it visible at all times while on campus.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and secure campus for all of our Bearcats!
Asynchronous Volunteer Training
We are excited to share that volunteer training is now available in an asynchronous format! Parents and guardians who would like to volunteer on campus can complete the required training at a time that is convenient for them, without attending a scheduled in-person session. This new option makes it easier than ever to get involved and support our students, staff, and school community. We appreciate our volunteers and look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year!
