Blazer Bulletin for Nov 6-Nov 10

Dear Trail Blazer Community
Hello Blazer Nation,
I hope that you all had an opportunity to enjoy some of the amazing weather this weekend and got some rest with the time change yesterday.
This week on the Trail we will be honoring our veterans with a small intimate Veteran’s Day reception. LT Orchestra will perform the National anthem and NNDCC will present the colors. Lunch will be provided to our guests along with letters of gratitude for their service.
I wish you all a fantastic week.
Students Need to Dress for the Weather
It’s getting colder, and students must dress accordingly to protect themselves from the elements. Due to drills, planned and unplanned, students may be required to move outdoors for a period of time and should have appropriate clothing available for such instances. Please be mindful of this as you send your students to school.
Frisco Community Parade - November 11
Come out for the Frisco Community Parade. The theme this year will be Stars, Stripes, and Service! Lebanon Trail Football, Cheerleaders, Band, Emerald Elite, and NJROTC will be present to represent LT and to serve the community through entertainment, give-a-ways, and more! You will not want to miss it. The parade is on November 11, 2023, at 10 a.m. Beginning at 10 am, the parade will leave Toyota Stadium, traveling east on Main Street through historic downtown before finishing at North County Rd.
Lesson Mastery - Recoup Credit
Students, If you were enrolled in a Lesson Mastery course to improve your grade up to a 70 from the 1st 9 weeks, this is just a friendly reminder that the deadline to complete the course is Nov. 28th. The final test must be completed in a proctored environment during a Thursday Night Reflection or Saturday School. Look in your email for more information or ask your teacher. ** This does not apply to AP classes or certain electives.
PSAT/NMSQT Scores Available November 6
PSAT/NMSQT results for 10th and 11th graders who took the exam on October 4, 2023, will be available online beginning Monday, November 6. Testers will receive a detailed email from our campus testing coordinator on Monday, November 6, with directions on how to view PSAT/NMSQT scores through the student’s College Board account. Questions about PSAT Scores? Contact Lauren Phillips @phillipsl@friscoisd.org .
Thank you to National Spanish Honor Society students and their 2 sponsors - Mrs. Rey and Mrs. Martinez for raising enough money from their candy sales to at least sponsor one $500 scholarship to be awarded to an NSHS Senior student from Lebanon Trail.
Safe Schools Survey
During the month of November all students in grade 11 across the district are scheduled to take the annual Safe Schools Survey. We will take this survey on 11/13 during Homeroom. The responses provided on the survey are anonymous and the survey is optional. We take this survey seriously and use the results to help our staff address any safety and health concerns our students may have at our campus.
