TIGER TIMES
9/21-9/25

NOTES FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL
Dear Titus Family,
What an incredible week at Titus! Our school was full of energy and excitement as we celebrated our annual Run for Funds. A huge thank you to our Run for Funds Committee for their hard work, dedication, and careful planning to make this event such a tremendous success.
It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, students eager to run, and families cheering on our Tigers. One of the best moments was hearing students say, “This is the best day ever!” Days like these are what make Titus such a special place.
We are also proud to share that, thanks to the generosity and support of our Titus community, we surpassed last year's fundraising total and raised an incredible amount of money to support our school. Currently, we raised just over $30,000! Way to go, Tigers!
A reminder that there will be no school on Monday in observance of Yom Kippur. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday morning.
Your Principal,
Erin Walter

TITUS SCHOOL DAY
START OF THE SCHOOL DAY ...
We are an "A" or early school, and our hours are 8:35 AM to 3:15 PM.
Please be aware that the school day begins at 8:35 AM in your child(ren)'s classroom(s). If you are a car rider in the morning, it is recommended that children are dropped off no later than 8:30 AM in order to get to their classrooms for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. If a student arrives in their classroom beyond 8:35 AM, they are considered tardy. Parents will need to come into the building to sign their child in if they arrive after 8:35 AM.
The adults supervising the car-rider drop-off line will be on duty until 8:32 AM. Students dropped off after 8:32 AM will more than likely not be able to make it to their classrooms on time for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. Also, for safety reasons, students arriving to school prior to 8:15 AM, need to be supervised by their parent/caregiver. We ask that all students wait with their family member in the drop off line until 8:15 AM.
Absences and Appointments
Dismissal Change Procedure
End-of-Day Dismissal Change Procedure:
If your student must go home a different way than usual, please follow these steps to ensure your student dismisses the correct way:
✅Email your student’s teacher and copy the entire office staff, stating your student’s name and the end-of-day dismissal change:
- [teacher's email]@cbsd.org
✅If a student is going home with another family, the parents of both families must email or call the office, providing consent.
✅Copying the entire office staff assures the dismissal change is included in end-of-day dismissal announcements and is a backup if the teacher or any office staff are absent.
✅Please submit changes as early as possible. Changes cannot be accepted after 2:50PM.

VOLUNTEERS
DON'T FORGET CLEARANCES....
Titus requires all potential volunteers to complete their paperwork for clearances prior to assuming any volunteer/chaperone role within the school. This will ensure we are in line with district and state expectations.
Who Needs Clearances: An individual who is responsible for the child's welfare or has direct contact with children. Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children to obtain background checks and clearances. In the best interest of the safety and security of our students, Central Bucks School District requires the submission of these clearances prior to volunteering during the school year. Each volunteer must create an individual Raptor account, and all required clearances must be submitted with your application. Approved volunteers must check in at the office with photo ID, such as a driver's license, when volunteering.
Additional information and steps on how to complete your clearances and to register to be a volunteer can be found on our district website.
