Instrumental Demonstration

Students in Grades 3-5 will attend a brief instrumental demonstration on Monday, September 8. WSSD music teachers will perform each of the instruments that students can choose to learn and practice with throughout the school year.

More information will be distributed after the demonstration. The instrumental demonstration is always a wonderful event that highlights the musical talents of the K-12 WSSD music staff.

Our annual Back to School Night will be held in-person on Thursday, September 18. For a complete schedule, please click below. We hope to see you there!

NOTE: Student Council will have spirit items on sale at Back to School Night (cash only).

Let's come together to show school spirit! Attached is a poster, which features the days we will wear our NPE shirts to school this year. Feel free to print a copy and encourage your NPE student to participate. The first date will be this upcoming Friday. We ask all students to wear the NPE t-shirt or another blue t-shirt.

In preparation for the 2025-2026 school year, I am recommending completing the process for clearances if you have not already done so. Clearances are good for 5 years and are kept at the District level.

Volunteer clearances are required for anyone volunteering to work with our students, whether that is in school, on a field trip, at an athletic event/practice, etc. Essentially, everyone who is volunteering with our students or in a school is required to obtain volunteer clearances. This includes but is not limited to adults who regularly volunteer but are under the supervision of a staff member.
