MAP Learning Meeting - All teachers

This week we are going to do something new! The intervention department created an asynchronous professional development video on MAP to help us learn how to read reports and plan for student growth. Instead of meeting synchronously for a faculty meeting on Tuesday afternoon you will need to complete the two trainings below asychronously, please allot about an hour to get through both presentations and the google assignment.

What you'll need to do:

Step 1: Join the MAP 2020-2021 Google Classroom code: 54l5pju

Step 2: Go to the 'Classwork' tab

Step 3: Click on the Watch the Asynchronous - MAP Basics powerpoint - go to slide 7 to watch the video - 17 minutes

Step 4: Watch the Asynchronous - MAP: How to identify and close gaps - 24 minutes

Step 5: Both of the slideshows are a the bottom of the classwork page if you want to follow along.

Step 5: Complete the linked assignment DO NOT USE THE SURVEY IN THE GOOGLE CLASSROOM: Post-Webinar Survey (Google Form)

On Wednesday, October 14th, during PLCs we will be looking at reports and talking about students who need Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention support. I have already entered your student data onto this year's data trackers. Please look at your students' data and gather your thoughts. We know some students scored lower than expected, do they need Tier 2 or 3 support? Look at their data from last year, talk to their previous teacher, etc.

UPDATE - Parent/Teacher Conference Night - October 22nd

Our conference night will be October 22nd from 4:00-7:30.

Schoolwide Conference Form - (the form will force you to make a copy) you are welcome to change some of the items on the form. The things that must be included are the MAP Scores (except PreK you will include Circle Data) and I'd like to see an area for Celebrations/Strengths. You are welcome to change the Behavior and Work Habits section if you want to put different items for remote/F2F students. Remember these will be emailed to parents so you'll want to have them in a digital form.

As far as parents signing up....consider making a google form or using SignUp Genius for the times you have available.

There is an Add On called: Choice Eliminator 2 that will eliminate choices in Google Forms once a parent chooses it. Here's a quick tutorial about how to add it to your form:
