USASA National Championship- Cade B.

We are thrilled to celebrate Cade and his incredible accomplishments at the USASA Ski Nationals Competition this past week at Copper Mountain!

Cade qualified for Nationals in three different disciplines and had an amazing weekend on the slopes:

  • Qualified 1st in Slopestyle

  • 2nd Place in Half Pipe

  • 5th Place in Rail Jam

Rail Jam was Cade’s most competitive field, with 85 athletes ages 11–15. Impressively, Cade was the only 11-year-old to make it to the finals—a huge accomplishment and a testament to his skill and determination!

His dedication, hard work, and genuine passion are inspiring. Cade continues to lead by example, and we are truly proud of what he has accomplished. We’re excited to see what’s next for him in the future!

ACE Scholarship Applications are due April 15th

At St. John’s, we believe every child deserves access to a high-quality education. We understand that private school tuition can be a challenge for some families, and we are committed to making a St. John’s education attainable for all.

We invite eligible families to apply for the ACE Scholarship, which provides tuition assistance for K-12 students. ACE Scholarships typically offer around $2,000 per year, paid directly to the school to help offset the cost of your student's tuition.

If tuition assistance would benefit your family, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.

For details on eligibility and how to apply, please click here.

8th Grade Entrepreneurship Marketplace

This week, our 8th Grade Entrepreneurship Marketplace displayed the creativity and innovation of our senior students. New to St. John’s this year, our 8th Grade Entrepreneurship class uses the mxINCedu program—made possible through a grant received last summer—to teach students how to identify problems, develop business ideas, create prototypes, and pitch their products. The Marketplace gave students a chance to showcase their ventures to the community, and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and growth. We trust that God will bless these young entrepreneurs as they build lives that bring more good into the world.

Chapel Offering Focus: April & May

Thank you for your generosity!

Thanks to your incredible support, we donated 178 pounds of food—valued at $330—to the Community Ministry Food Pantry. Your kindness makes a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.

As we wrap up the school year, our final chapel offering is a new toy drive benefiting The Gift of Love INC in Grand Junction. These toys will be personally delivered by our seventh graders during their service trip in May.

We invite you to donate new toys now through May 9. Collection bins are located in the entryways of both the school and church.

Our goal is 200 toys—let’s make it happen!

Thank you for helping us spread love and joy to children in need.

LOST & FOUND OVERLOAD

Our Lost & Found has reached maximum capacity! Our hanging rack is bursting with jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, and lunch bags that are just waiting to be reunited with their owners. If your child has been missing something, there’s a good chance it’s here!

We kindly ask families to stop by and check the Lost & Found. Any unclaimed items will be donated soon, so now’s the time to rescue those beloved hoodies and favorite items.

Thank you for helping us clear the clutter and keep our school looking great!

Student Dress Code and warmer weather

As we move into spring and the warmer weather (yay!), we want to take a moment to remind families about our dress code. Many of the items that fit well last summer may no longer meet the guidelines, as growing young people often outgrow their clothing more quickly than expected.

Spring Break is a great time to check wardrobes and make sure that shorts, skirts, and other warm-weather attire still align with our dress code. If needed, this is also a good opportunity to pick up a few new items to ensure students are dressed appropriately for school. Thank you for your attention to this as we head into the new season!

Panthers Dine Out at Joe Willy's – A New Partner Supporting St. John’s!

We’re thrilled to welcome Joe Willy’s as our newest partner for Panther’s Dine Out! As a proud supporter of our school community, Joe Willy’s is generously donating 25% of the evening’s sales back to St. John’s School.

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal while supporting our students—and to show our appreciation for a local business that’s stepping up to give back.

Let’s give Joe Willy’s a warm St. John’s welcome and make it a night to remember!
