Wrangler Round Up
10/2/26
Principal's Message
Wranglers, We’re Almost There!
Can you believe the first nine weeks is almost over? The first nine weeks ends Thursday, October 8! Now is a great time for students to check their grades, talk with their teachers about any missing or failing assignments, and take advantage of tutorials if they need additional support. A little extra effort now can make a big difference as we close out the grading period!
There will be no school on Friday, October 9, or Monday, October 12. We hope our students and families enjoy the long weekend and come back refreshed and ready for a great second nine weeks!
Looking ahead, the week of October 12 is Lewisville High School Homecoming Week, and there is always lots of excitement around our community! The Homecoming Parade and Community Pep Rally is Wednesday, October 14 in Old Town, followed by the Homecoming Game on Friday, October 16. If your family is planning to attend either event, please be sure to review the LISD athletic event attendance policies included further down in this newsletter. We want everyone to have a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience supporting our Farmers!
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our Wranglers. Let’s finish the first nine weeks strong!
Go Wranglers!
Warmly,
Linda Cragin, Principal

Counselor's Corner
In Lewisville ISD, the whole child is at the core of everything we do as a district,
including our students' mental, emotional and physical health. With counselors
on every campus, LISD knows parents want their children to receive an
outstanding education, but more importantly, they want their children to be
nurtured and cared for beyond just academics.
LISD provides student wellness lessons over various topics throughout the year to ensure each child receives the support they need to develop every aspect of their being. Parents can preview student wellness lessons provided by the Counseling Department by visiting the link below.

LISD Athletic Events Policy - Parent Accompaniment, Backpacks, Clear Bags, Weapons Detectors
In order to attend a game/athletic competition/or special event of any kind, MIDDLE SCHOOL students MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN.
