8th grade Christmas store fundraiser is Dec. 11 - 13. This is an annual 8th grade fundraiser. It provides Christmas gifts that students can purchase for others. Please look at the information below for more details.

7th grade finished our ELA unit on Lewis Hine and his crusade against child labor by researching the early 1900s and industries that employed children. They also researched child labor laws. They picked a child from Hines’ historical pictures of child laborers and created a monologue to tell their story.

Each year KAES has a Christmas book walk. Students and teachers travel around to other classrooms. Students get to hear one of the teacher's favorite Christmas children's books and then do a project connected to the book. It makes for a super fun morning.
