Schools and school districts across the country have been facing challenges associated with declining enrollment. BVSD has not been immune from this trend and can point to the same contributing factors (falling birth rates, the COVID-19 pandemic, affordable housing, and a rise in alternative education options like homeschooling and private schools).

BVSD is organizing community engagement events focused on the challenges associated with declining enrollment. At these meetings, BVSD will discuss the impact on our classrooms, take questions, and share your priorities and values. Your input will help inform the decisions the Board of Education will make this fall. If you would like to attend there is a meeting that will be hosted at Monarch High School and is open to any community member who would like to attend. They are asking that you fill out an RSVP form so they can plan space needs (click here to RSVP).

April 22 (Wednesday)

Monarch High School

329 Campus Dr., Lsvlle

6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

How to make a report in BVSD

We want to remind all families and students that if you need help, let the Boulder Valley School District know through our Make a Report website. It is linked on every BVSD website and provides easy access to district reporting forms for safety concerns, bullying, discrimination and sex violence and harassment.

Please watch this Make a Report video which clearly demonstrates how to report incidents of harassment and discrimination and how to connect with the school regarding supportive measures.

Revised Family Perception Survey

Dear families, you will receive an email invitation to participate in our annual Family Perception Survey (formerly the parent survey) either the last week of February or first week of March. We know your time is valuable, so the survey has been streamlined to be much quicker to complete. Your feedback helps us celebrate what’s working and identify areas where we can grow. The survey closes March 27—thank you for helping us make our school even better!

Sus comentarios nos ayudan a celebrar lo positivo y a identificar las áreas en las que podemos mejorar. La encuesta finaliza el 27 de marzo. ¡Gracias por ayudarnos a mejorar nuestra escuela!
