Welcome to the newest section of the newsletter - the Counselor Corner!

Each week Mrs. Rotante, Ms. Johnson, or Ms. Hart will share helpful information with our Gruening family.

This week, we would like to share a little information about the importance of being in person during the school day.

- Did you know that regular attendance is linked to academic success?

- Did you know that being in class every day helps you learn and grow?

- Did you know that consistent attendance builds important habits like responsibility and time management?

- Did you know that your attendance shapes your academic journey?

Even in middle school, setting routines is important. Having a consistent evening routine, getting the next days clothes ready the night before, charging the Chromebook, and packing the backpack are all great ways to help get the students ready for school.

In support of Bullying Prevention Month, Gruening will come together to send a visible message of building commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

The call to action is simple: wear and share the color orange!
