Cell Phone Reminders
Per Ohio Law students phones should not be visible during the day (7:55-2:42). We understand that students were off for the last 3 weeks and are a little out of routine. We have offered several reminders this week to students. We will begin to sequester phones during the day for those students who do not adhere to the school policy.
Please have a discussion with your child to remind them of the expectations--I have to do this with my own child. The law and policy is working and we are seeing positive outcomes with students not having this distraction during the day. We appreciate your partnership and help!
THE MAIN THINGS!
1.Scheduling Kick Off Video will be shown in MODS 3/4. I will also email out to students and families.

GENERAL INFO
Student Out Periods
We are very fortunate that our students have a significant amount of flexibility for student schedules Emerald Campus, CCP, Virtual, etc. This is a reminder that if a student is supposed to be OUT of the building for those classes, they are NOT permitted to stay at Jerome.
This is a significant safety concern. If we have a student that does not have a Jerome class on their schedule in the building we will ask them to leave. Students are welcome to be here but will need to be added to a study hall. Thank you for your assistance with this.
Multi-use field, Baseball Field, or Softball Fields
Dublin Jerome does NOT yet have possession of the multi-use field, Baseball Field, or Softball Field. At the moment it is still under the purview of the contractors.
We ask that NO students, families, or community members use the areas until we take possession. This will be communicated by Mr. Schwanke when completed. We are almost there!
Parking Lot Safety Reminders
Drop Off/Pick Up: Jerome is a very busy place and experiences high volume of traffic at certain points during the day. Please be mindful of your speed and etiquette during these time. It takes all of us to keep our school community safe. One brief lapse can impact many.
AM Lifting: The end of AM workouts for our athletes increase the traffic in the Hyland Croy lot especially in the spring. The majority of our staff parks in this lot and arrive around the same time. If you have an athlete that drives or you are doing the pick-up please mindful of pedestrians and others.

💚 Help Us Treat Our Teachers 💚
Once a month, our PTO rolls the 🔆Sunshine Cart🔆 through the halls to brighten our teachers’ day. This month we will be spreading joy on Friday, January 16th.
We’d love your help keeping the Sunshine Cart stocked! You can support this effort by purchasing an item from our Amazon Wish List. o Don’t have an Amazon account - no problem we take Venmo donations, which allows us to restock as needed throughout the year.
