Hello Shoreham Community,

This is an exciting week! Under the leadership of Sara Metcalf our band and chorus teacher we are looking forward to our very first music concert of the year tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16th at 2pm in the gym. Our students have been practicing and preparing for this all school event. We hope you can join us in the festivities.

Also this week, our student council has organized and planned our upcoming Spirit Week that starts on Wednesday, December 17th. Each day students have 2 choices to choose from for Spirit Week. Please check out the list below with the week at a glance.

Tuesday, December 16th - Chorus & Band Concert at 2pm in the Cafeteria - Open to Shoreham Community

Tuesday, December 23rd- Craft Fair - 9:30 - 11:15 - Volunteers Needed

Wednesday, December 24th - January 5th - Holiday Break

Monday, January 19th - Martin Luther King Jr. Day ( No School)

Spirit Week

December 17th - December 23rd

Our hope is that Spirit Week will be filled with fun for the last 5 days of school before break.

Students have the option of not participating if they choose .

Each day students have 2 options to choose from. Students should be wearing items that are appropriate and respectful of themselves and others.

Wednesday, December 17th

Shoreham Gear / Shoreham Colors - Burgundy / White

Show PRIDE for our school community.

Day 2:

Thursday, December 18th

Mismatch Day / Comfy Clothes Day

Wear clothes that don’t match and that are very comfortable

Day 3:

Friday, December 19th

Formal Day / Career Day

Feel free to dress up in your favorite formal wear or dress up in a career you like such as; doctor,chef, teacher and or principal.

Day 4:

Monday, December 22nd

Crazy Hat Day/ Crazy Hair Day

Students can style their hair in a safe wild wacky way. Design a hat that is wacky and safe.

Day 5: ( Last Day)

Tuesday, December 23rd

PJ Day / Stuffy Day

Please wear something that is really comfortable or wear warm and comfy pajamas.

Please remember:

1. If your child will be late or absent please call Irene in the main office.

2. Send your child with proper footwear for school (including sneakers for PE).

3. Students are not supervised outside / inside before 7:30 am.

4. If you are picking up your child at school please make sure to pick them up on the southern

side of the school NOT the northern side by the church.

5. Pick up students from the main entrance only
