For teacher (staff) appreciation week we will be taking the staff on a little excursion to Mexico!!! Here’s the breakdown of the PTO sponsored activities:
MONDAY – raffle baskets and pinatas! Thank you to everyone who donated baskets or items. We have 20 amazing baskets to raffle off!
WEDNESDAY – chips and salsa! This sign up is filled. Thank you to everyone who signed up. All chips and salsa donations should be dropped off in the school office by Tuesday, May 7.
FRIDAY – Mexican themed luncheon! The PTO is in need of a couple of parent volunteers to help set up and clean up the luncheon. We also need lots of food items! Both of those sign up links are below.
We are also asking families to remember the teachers this week, with a few simple and free ideas. A flyer was sent out via email earlier in the week, but here is the summary:
- Monday – wear your teacher’s favorite color
- Tuesday – dress like a PE, music, art, or library teacher
- Wednesday – bring in the PTO provided paper for your teacher (was sent via email on Tuesday and home with students on Monday)
- Thursday – high five one of the specialist teachers
- Friday – bring thank you cards for your teachers
This event is for everyone who has volunteered for Paradise in some fashion this year. PTO volunteers, classroom volunteers, field trip chaperones, and those who have donated items, are invited to stop by Farmers Field on Wednesday, after school, for ice cream bars, courtesy of the PTO. We will also have a basket of summer goodness to raffle off. The whole family is welcome. Thank you for being a part of the Paradise team this year!
Students will be running laps through obstacle courses set up by the PTO as a conclusion to our biggest fundraiser. At the end of the day, the PTO will hold an awards assembly for the school to decorate our teacher hot dogs and announce the prize winners from the fundraiser. Lots of volunteers are needed throughout the day to help this event run smoothly. Volunteers must have clearances on file. Please click the button below to sign up.
