We are thrilled to announce that Florence Twp. School District is launching a brand new website and mobile app in early August!
Powered by Apptegy, this upgrade will bring all district news, school calendar events, and teacher messaging together into one convenient place. You will be able to easily browse school updates, check sports schedules, and chat directly with your child's teachers using a new feature called "Rooms."
What you need to do:
- Watch your inbox: In early August, you will receive an invitation email to activate your account. We will also be posting all information on social media and our school newsletters.
- Download the app: Search for Florence Twp. School District in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store once we launch.
- Stay tuned: We will share a quick tutorial closer to the rollout date to help you get set up
Thank you for partnering with us to improve how we stay connected! We can't wait to share these awesome new communications tools with you!

11th & 12th Grade Parent Information
We know that not all high school students check their email over the summer, so we want to remind you to encourage them to check their email for exciting news happening over the summer! Shortly, our NHS Advisors (Mrs. Fisher & Mrs. Donofrio) will be inviting eligible 11th and 12th grade students to apply to the National Honor Society next week.
Applications will be due at the beginning of the upcoming school year. Please encourage your children to log in to their email, so they can see if they've been invited to apply to the NHS. If they have been invited to apply, it's important that they review all parts of the application now, so they are prepared for September.
In order to be invited to apply to our school's chapter of the NHS for the 25-26 SY, students must have a weighted GPA of at least a 4.0. Given that our college prep, honors, and advanced placement classes are all weighted courses, this is reasonable requirement.
If you have any questions regarding the NHS or the application process, please reach out to our NHS Advisors at cdonofrio@florence.k12.nj.us, or kfisher@florence.k12.nj.us.
