Students may wear costumes to school tomorrow for Halloween! Costumes should be school-appropriate and should not have the following: masks, have the student's entire face painted, or have weapon-like props, etc.

Congratulations, Ms. Benson!
Congratulations to our very own 6th grade Science Teacher, Ms. Benson who was a recipient of the Foundation for Beacon Schools "Innovation in Teaching Award" at the FBS Masquerade Gala this past Thursday evening. Awesome!
Sign up for the Turkey Trot @ Sargent Elementary this Saturday, 11/4!
You lost it, we (might) have found it!
It's the season for our lost and found to begin to really pile up! We encourage students to look at the lost and found in the Cafeteria to see if any of their missing items might have been found and turned in. Thank you to Ms. Cotto's class for their organization of all of the items! See picture below!
USAgain Bins!
It's that time of year for Fall Cleaning. If you find yourself wanting to donate clothes, shoes and other items, please consider using our USAgain donation bins. The RMS bins are located in the bus loop parking lot. The positives to using these bins are two-fold: for every bin that is full, USAgain plants 1 tree and two, some money gets raised for our RMS Environmental Club! See the picture below from the USAgain website for some ideas that you may consider donating!
RMS PTO Corner
The Gertrude Hawk Chocolate fundraiser order forms should be returned by 11/3. You can also place orders online using the following link. Begin by adding a seller and use the organization code 718629. All students can participate in the fundraiser. Those students going on the DC or Boston trip can have the profit earned applied to their trip cost. The profit earned from 6th graders and those students not going on the DC or Boston will be donated to the district to be applied to the end of year trips for each grade.
There is still time to make a donation to the PTO to be entered into a raffle for a gift basket. The raffle basket drawing will be held at our meeting on 11/7/23. Make your donation online here or by venmo @DotDiNobile and add PTO donation in the memo.
Our Ride to School with the Bravest Raffle has begun which will benefit our DC and Boston Scholarship Fund. Raffle tickets are on sale for elementary school students to win a ride to school on a fire truck. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10 and can be downloaded from Romboutpto.org. Please help us spread the word. There will be one winner from each elementary school.
We are looking for food donations and volunteers for the concession stand at the Fall Ball on 11/3 and the Turkey Bowl football tournament on November 9th. If you are interested in donating or volunteering for the Fall Ball sign up here. If you are interested in donating to or volunteering for the Turkey Bowl sign up here.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 11/8 at 7pm in the RMS Library. We will be attempting to do a hybrid meeting by zoom. Be on the lookout for the link in the near future. We would love to see you there! We are still looking for board members for this year and next year. If you are interested in finding out more, please contact us at romboutpto@gmail.com.
