EAGLE EXTRA!

Argyle ISD invites community members to attend one of the informative School Funding Referendum presentations led by Superintendent Dr. Courtney Carpenter and CFO Liz Stewart.

These sessions will focus on the upcoming November 5, 2024 School Funding Referendum (VATRE), which addresses crucial issues like growing class sizes, teacher and staff pay raises, and the overall impact on the district’s future.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share thoughts, and gain a clearer understanding of how the referendum could help retain $2.5 million for budget priorities.

We encourage all community members to attend a presentation to stay informed and involved in the future of Argyle ISD. (Please be sure to check dates as some presentations have been adjusted from previous communications. This is the most updated list below. This list is subject to change.)

The Argyle Education Foundation has a new mission: to raise funds directly supporting year-end bonuses for our hardworking teachers. Teachers are the heart of our educational community, and they deserve our unwavering support, especially during these uncertain times.

How can I get involved? Here's 3 ways you can help!

1. Make a donation to AEF! Did you know that if every student in the district made a $100 donation that AEF would be able to give over $1,000 to every teacher, counselor and nurse in the district?

2. Support an event! The AEF fall Cornhole fundraiser is coming up on November 10! Join us as a sponsor or grab a group of friends and create a team!

3. Spread the word! Great news travels fast, so help us share our new mission so we can make an impact for our teachers!
