Husky HowlNovember 2025

From The Desk of Principal Granger

Dear Hearne Families,

As we enter the season of gratitude, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education. November is a time to reflect on all we’re thankful for, and here at school, we’re especially grateful for our dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and engaged families.

This month brings exciting learning opportunities, meaningful celebrations, and a chance to come together as a community. Please keep an eye out for updates on upcoming events and ways to stay involved.

Wishing you and your family a joyful and restful Thanksgiving season!

In Partnership,

Mrs. Granger

Car Rider Tags will be issued the first week of school. Please be sure to hang your car rider number on your rearview window daily. If you do not have a number after the 3rd day of school, you will have to come inside to check your child out with a valid ID.

Students car rider tags should be fastened to their backpack everyday.

Thank you for keeping our students safe.

Change of Dismissal Procedures Change of Dismissal Procedures

We understand changes happen throughout the school year which affect the way students go home at times. In the event your child's dismissal change temporarily, parents and guardians MUST submit a change of dismissal form from the front office. You may call 281-988-8333 for details. All dismissal changes are via parent consent. Please note the following:

  • Parents must contact the front office to provide consent for dismissal changes temporarily.
  • Teachers are busy teaching throughout the day. All communication must go through front office staff.
  • All students will go home following their normal dismissal route UNLESS you follow the process of completing a change of dismissal form.
Here's an example of a temporary dismissal change:

  • Your child has been a bus rider all school year, but will be picked up via car on Thursday and Friday this week only.
If you would like to permanently change your child's dismissal pathway, please contact the front office AND your child's teacher.
