During September's student of the month assembly, Highland Park students reviewed PBIS (positive behavior intervention and supports) and the code of conduct. The first incentive has been set- students are challenged to earn 1400 golden tickets as a whole school, and if they do they will receive an extra recess with freeze pops!
RESPECT
For September, we are focusing on Pillar 1- Respect. Students reviewed how they can be respectful in all areas of the building, and what it looks like to respect each other.
5 B's
Each week, one homeroom will be honored as the H.O.T (here on time) class! This class will be selected based on attendance, and having the most students at school and on time every day. On Fridays the class will be announced, and they will earn a classroom golden ticket and a fan favorite 30 second dance party!
