JOSEPH BALDWIN ACADEMY

Named after the founder of Truman State University (Kirksman, Missouri), the Joseph Baldwin Academy was created in 1985 to provide the benefits of a liberal arts education to students beyond its own undergraduates. The Academy provides courses in all areas of the liberal arts including:
Humanities

The Academy’s challenging classes are designed to be the approximate equivalent of a semester-long university course offered during the regular academic year. The faculty members of the Academy’s classes structure their courses to suit the interests and abilities of the talented students who make up our student body. The Dean has personally selected the JBA professors, choosing some of the most exceptional teachers and scholars among Truman’s faculty, alumni, and visiting educators.

HEALTHY ROSTER INFORMATION
This year RMS will be using a new platform called Healthy Roster to collect preseason paperwork including physicals, injury tracking, and communication between parent, coach, admin and athletic trainer. I am asking all parents to complete this 2 minute Google Form so I can send you the information to create your Healthy Roster account for your student athlete(s). If you have multiple children at RHS or RMS, please complete the Google Form multiple times so I can create each individual account. I have attached a link that answers the majority of the questions you will have and you can ask me directly as well. Healthy Roster can be used on a computer or downloaded as an app.
Once your account is created, please go into details and update your insurance, emergency contact (email and phone number), student demographics, and any other medications/allergies that your student athlete(s) may have. If you don't have insurance, please look at RHS Activities website for supplemental insurance. Under the documents tab, you will find all the preseason documents that must be completed before your student athlete(s) can compete. These forms can be digitally signed on your phone or computer. Your athlete's physical can also be uploaded directly through the app by taking a picture of BOTH sides of the physical form. Please check to make sure you have all your signatures!
With concussion testing, all RMS student athletes will need to complete the concussion test once a school year. Testing instructions can be found under documents in RMS Sway Concussion testing. Students or parents will need to download the Sway Medical app and follow the instructions listed in Healthy Roster. (Sway will automatically upload into Healthy Roster for test completion). Additional information regarding Sway can be found here.
Turn on your notifications with the app and check your emails as I will send notifications if your preseason documents are missing information and needed to be updated.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me at pphalen@fremont25.org. My goal is to have Healthy Roster up and running by the start of the school year.
Thanks!
