Promotion Ceremony
Fast Facts:
Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Log College parking lot (Willow Dale side).
Be prepared to be in the sun and outdoors for approximately one hour. If you have a health condition that makes this unsafe, we strongly encourage watching the ceremony on our Facebook Live feed.
We also highly recommend bringing water.
Parking will be available at Log College and Willow Dale Elem.
The Ceremony:
While the promotion is optional to attend, we do expect most students to be present.
There is not a specific dress code, but students should dress appropriately.
The ceremony will last approximately 60 minutes (last year’s took just over 45 minutes).
The building (and bathrooms) will not be open.
The ceremony includes a few speeches, a brief musical performance, presentation of a handful of our most prestigious awards, and the individual announcements of our student body.
Tickets:
On Friday, May 31, each 8th grade student will receive four guest tickets necessary for entry.
Two primary tickets and two secondary tickets.
Seating will be spaced for families (groups of five).
Students sit with their families. Families who received extra tickets should bring a chair. You may not take a chair from another family’s set of five. If there is space, you may sit next to your family’s section or sit behind the last row (no seat is a bad seat).
Rain: In the case of rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the LCMS auditorium.
Due to capacity restrictions, only guests with primary tickets will be permitted to enter the building. Please consider this when determining which tickets you will share with your guests. There are no exceptions and requests for additional tickets will not be granted.
**Students with outstanding debts will not receive tickets or be permitted to attend.
- Please email any questions/concerns to goldpa@centennialsd.org.
Trills and Thrills Trip
On Friday May 17th the 7th & 8th grade Band, 7th & 8th grade Orchestra, and Log College Singers competed at the Trills and Thrills Festival at Manchester Township High School. For the first time in school history, all three groups came home with the highest rating of SUPERIOR. Our young musicians made Log College proud!
Community Music Performance
On May 22nd, students from the Log College Jazz Band and the Log College Singers performed for the residents of the Masonic Village of Warminster nursing home. Residents enjoyed the tunes while the students had a minute to chat with the seniors to connect with members of our community.
Intermediate Art Classes
Students in Ms. Berner’s Intermediate Art class are finishing up their final project for the year. These mixed media artworks incorporate embossed metal with colored pencil. Students created unique designs with zentangles and selected a section of the composition to emboss, creating concave and convex patterns; ink was then added to give the metal a patina-like finish. Students then used their understanding of color harmony to add pops of color to the rest of the composition. It has been a fun and creative way to wrap up their time in class this year!
Bucks County North League Track & Field Championships
Log College Boy and Girls track had a great showing at the championship yesterday.
The two fastest female runners in Bucks County, earning gold medals (pics below), were LCMS students Devyn M and Janelle R. Savannah D also earned a bronze medal! For the boys, Jason B won a bronze medal in the 400 while Brayden M earned the bronze medal in the shot put. The boys mile relay team also won a bronze medal: (Lexy Y, Pedro V, Edwin D, and Jason B).
Spring Sports
LCMS wrapped up the Spring Sports Season as Track & Field, Baseball, Softball, and Girls Soccer all completed their final games vs. Klinger at WTHS. Thank you and congratulations to all of our student athletes.
Dear Log College Families,

If you have already played a sport in the Fall/Winter, you do not need to complete a new physical, but you must re-submit section 7 (Re-certification by parent/guardian) from the PIAA physical form. This page does not require seeing a doctor or medical provider.
If you did not submit a PIAA physical in the Fall/Winter, you must complete Sections 1 to 5 within the PIAA sports physical packet. This must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian. Section 6 must be completed by an authorized medical examiner (family doctor, urgent care, minute clinic). You can ignore pages 7-8.
If you cannot find an appointment time with your doctor, you may use another provider or visit a CVS Minute Clinic or visit an Urgent Care center. The Centennial School District has a partnership with Liberty Urgent Care:
