Better Together: Curriculum Night

Thank you to all the families who made it to curriculum night this week. We loved having the opportunity to have you in the building and to share what your child will be learning this year.

Always Growing: Teachers Are Learning Too!

Our teachers have been busy learning new systems such as Infinite Campus and assessments like mClass, since the school year has started. Our staff is dedicated to continuing our growth as educators to meet the needs of each of our students.

Take Responsibility: E+R=O

This year all Dublin City Schools students will learn the R-Factor. We kicked off this learning with an assembly and classroom activities this week. The R-Factor equips our students with the mindset and skill set to be intentional about the way they think and respond to events in their lives. The R-Factor is a simple equation. E+R=O (Event + Response = Outcome). Students will learn that they cannot always control events that happen in their lives, but they can control how they respond in order to get the outcomes that they want. The R-Factor helps our students communicate, make decisions, manage their emotions, and interact with others positively.

Let Me Run season NEEDS Coaches!

Let Me Run is a curriculum-based run and wellness program for boys. Using a curriculum and the power of running, we guide boys through mental, physical and emotional discussions and activities. End of season concludes with 5K race!

Open to 4/5th grade team or a 3rd grade only team!

Need 2 coaches at least, willing to coach teams of up to 14 boys' afterschool 2x/week for 7 weeks. A rotation of more coaches would alleviate the time commitment.

Season starts week of September 18th , Practices Tuesdays/Thursdays afterschool.
