Dear PES Families,

Today we celebrated our very first Student of the Month at our All-School Meeting! Each month, we’ll highlight students who go above and beyond in showing Respect, Safety, and Kindness at every grade level. Congratulations to this month’s honorees—we are so proud of your hard work and positive example! A big thank-you as well to the families who were able to join us for this special celebration.

Read for the Record 2025 📖

On Friday October 17th, PES is participating in Jumpstart’s 20th anniversary celebration of Read for the Record. To celebrate 20 years of wonderful books, Jumpstart has chosen See Marcus Grow as this year's read!

We are looking for volunteers to help facilitate a school wide gardening activity. If you are interested, please sign up using the link below by Friday October 10th .

From the PTO:

The PES PTO is thrilled to announce that we have been selected as the beneficiary of the 2025 Our Town Trot 5K run/walk event which will take place in Peterborough on Saturday, October 18!

This designation means that the PTO will receive all proceeds from the event. We are honored to be recognized for the positive difference the PTO makes for PES students and teachers.

Let’s do our part and help the Our Town Trot get its best attendance to date! More attendees means more funds for the PTO to use in support of our school. Walkers and kids are welcome! Registration for kids 12 and under is FREE. You may register here:

The PES PTO plans to use these funds to help support the next NHDI dance residency at PES, another great program which helps get our kids up and moving!
