NTHF August 2026
National Teachers Hall of Fame

August 26, 2026
2027 SUMMIT REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
NTHF's Education Summit 2026 was more than just an event — it was a celebration of teaching and a catalyst for the future of education, bringing educators from across the nation together to share, collaborate, and grow alongside National Teachers Hall of Fame inductees and other inspiring presenters. Now it's time to join us for the next one: the NTHF Education Summit 2027, taking place June 28–30, 2027 at Walt Disney World's Boardwalk Inn and Convention Center, for three days of learning, collaboration, and inspiration with educators from across the nation.
As a member of the NTHF network, you are being offered a SPECIAL DISCOUNT CODE. This code is only for YOU and those you choose to personally share it with. Please do not post on social media or put in any newsletter.
Why Register Right Away?
- Seats are intentionally limited — we're keeping the Summit boutique, and expect it to sell out fast.
- The hotel block is limited — once Boardwalk rooms are gone, they're gone, so this is your window to stay on-site.
- Prices won't go lower — this is the lowest rate we'll ever offer; pricing only increases from here.
Registration Options
Registration Only: Use code STARLIGHT to register for $299 (a $625 value). Summit registration includes all sessions, meals, and events on the program agenda, including the Epcot VIP reception, plus access to our Disney event link to book Disney theme park passes at discounted prices.
Registration + 3-Night Boardwalk Package: You can also use the code STARLIGHT to register for the hotel package for just $599 (a $1,765 value). This rate includes everything above, plus hotel Monday–Wednesday nights (check-in 6/28, check-out 7/1).
Conference registrations, hotel reservations, and tickets are all subject to availability, as capacity is limited. If you'd like to extend your stay before or after the Summit, the 2027 discount hotel rate of $339/night ($35/night for an additional guest 18+) is available to you.
Thinking about presenting? RFPs are coming soon. Registration cost won't be reduced for presenters this year — instead, we'll be giving all presenters an after-4 p.m. park pass as our thank-you.
How to Register
Go to nthf.org/nthf-education-summit-2027 and enter code STARLIGHT when prompted. As we said above, this SPECIAL DISCOUNT code is only for YOU and those you choose to personally share it with. Please do not post on social media or put in any newsletter.
BOLT - Building Our Leaders of Tomorrow
The BOLT Leadership Program at Disney, held concurrently with our Summit, is an engaging three-day learning experience at Walt Disney World’s convention center and theme parks for students in grades 6 to 12. Each day mixes collaborative activities and theme park adventures, including a Disney “Imagination Campus” program. BOLT’s goal is for students to acquire the building blocks necessary to develop their leadership skills – and to leave better equipped and energized to embrace new challenges, serve their schools and communities, and reach their own personal goals.
Nominate Now for the 2027 NTHF Class
Think back to the teacher who saw something in you before you saw it in yourself — the one whose classroom you still remember, whose lesson you still carry. That's exactly the kind of educator the National Teachers Hall of Fame exists to honor, and nominations for induction close November 1. If you haven't yet submitted a name, this is your reminder that it only takes a few minutes to set someone's recognition in motion.
This year, more teachers than ever qualify: NTHF changed the experience requirement to 15 years of full-time teaching, meaning more career educators qualify. So before the deadline arrives, take a moment to nominate the mentor, colleague, or teacher who left a lasting mark on you — and help make sure their impact is remembered.
Your Donation is the STAR of the Show!
The countdown is on to our Annual Auction — Thursday, November 19th at 6:00 PM CT, celebrating American Education Week — and right now, what we need most is you: a donor willing to make this year's lineup unforgettable. Bidders can't wait to compete for tickets to sporting events and concerts, autographed memorabilia, travel packages, jewelry and art, and creative themed baskets, so if you've got something special to offer, this is your moment. Send us a description and retail value by October 12th, and get the item to us by October 26th so we have time to feature it before the big night.
Every donation, big or small, does more than fill a table — it funds a mission bigger than one night of bidding: honoring exceptional career teachers, encouraging excellence in the classroom, and preserving the legacy of the teaching profession. So whether you're ready to donate a one-of-a-kind item today or still deciding what to offer, we'd love to hear from you.
To register an item, or get more information: scan the QR code, email Bob.haselhuhn@nthf.org, or call (620) 341-5660 — and most importantly join us live on KVOE 1400 AM, 96.9 FM, streaming at kvoe.com/kvoe-tv, or in person for an evening that turns your generosity into every teacher's win.
Please Give the Hall of Fame 5 Stars!
We've made some exciting improvements to the Hall of Fame over the past few years, and we couldn't be more proud to show it off. Now we need your help spreading the word!
If you've stopped by, we'd love for you to share your experience with a Google and/or Yelp review. It only takes a minute, and it makes a real difference in helping others discover us.
