📣 Families! Here's a message from Principal Dr. Allen

As we head into November, we want to take a moment to thank each of you for your continued support and partnership in our school community. This month is filled with exciting learning opportunities, holiday preparations, and a focus on gratitude, as we reflect on all the things we are thankful for. Here's a look at what to expect in November!

Veteran’s Day Assembly: On November 8, we will be holding our annual Veteran’s Day Assembly. We invite all veterans in our community to attend as we honor their service. This is an important learning experience for our students, as we reflect on the sacrifices made by those who have served in the military.

Thanksgiving Break: There will be no school from November 25 to 29 in observance of Thanksgiving. We hope you enjoy this time with family and friends, as we all take a moment to reflect on what we are grateful for and recharge for the months ahead.

Reminders:

Cold Weather Gear: As temperatures begin to drop, please make sure your child comes to school with warm clothing. We still go outside for recess whenever possible, and it's important that everyone is dressed appropriately.

After-School Pick-Up: Please remember to pick up your child promptly at the end of the school day.

Important Dates:

November 5–11: District Assessments for grades 3rd - 5th
November 8: Veteran’s Day Assembly
November 11: No School – Veterans Day Remembrance
November 25-29: Thanksgiving Break (No School)

We want to express our deepest thanks for your ongoing support. Whether it’s donating to the classroom, attending school events, or simply being involved in your child’s education, it all makes a difference. We are grateful to work with such a wonderful group of families.
