Principal's Message
Hello Families!
We are excited to share that we are beginning the initial rollout of ConnectEd Family Visits at our school. These visits are designed to build strong partnerships by listening and learning from our families.
During a ConnectEd visit, staff may meet with families in their home or at another location that feels comfortable, such as the school or a community space. These visits are not evaluative or problem-focused; their purpose is simply to hear your experiences, hopes, and perspectives.
Over the coming months, school staff will be reaching out to some families to schedule visits. While we may not be able to connect with every family during this school year, our goal is to meet with every family by the end of 2026. We appreciate your partnership as we take this important step in strengthening our school community.
I also want to take a moment to give a big thank you to our PTO who helped coordinate our Donuts with Darlings! Every student at Lincoln was able to receive a donut which was awesome! We had a great turn out and loved having our Lincoln families here!
Additionally, I would like to take a moment to remind everyone about our Hub at Lincoln. It is a place where we can connect you with temporary food and clothing resources. Additionally, we can get you connected with other resources within Larimer County including employment services, the Food Bank, Housing resources, and many other services. I encourage you to reach out to Tanya Santacruz at Tanya.Santacruz@tsd.org or at 970-613-6200 if this is something you may need to access.
Along those same lines, please consider completing the free and reduced lunch form. Each year the for needs to be submitted for requalification. The application process is quick and confidential. You can complete the form online at https://linqconnect.com/public/meal-application/new or by completing a paper copy and returning it to Lincoln. If you need help completing it, please don’t hesitate to contact our school office at 970-613-6200.
Warmly,
Ms. Stott

Attendance Letters
New Attendance Letter Process
We wanted to share an update about a new district-wide process for attendance communication this year. The district has now enabled an automated attendance letter system, which will send notifications to families when a student reaches 4, 7, 10, and 30 days absent. These letters are designed to keep families informed about their child’s attendance and to help identify any potential attendance concerns early on.
Please know that while these letters are automatically generated, we still greatly appreciate your continued communication when your child will be absent. We understand that illnesses and family circumstances come up, and we do not expect students to attend school when they are sick.
Attendance Fact of the Month:
Students who are chronically absent in the early years of their education miss crucial school readiness skills such as critical and creative thinking and problem-solving. This negatively affects social and emotional development.
Attendance Tip of the Month:
Set a consistent bedtime and morning routine. Try laying out clothes and packing backpacks the night before. Being at school every day helps children build problem-solving skills, confidence, and positive relationships that support social and emotional growth.
Thank you for helping us support strong attendance and a healthy learning environment for all students!
For more information visit our Attendance Page on our website!
How to Report an Absence
You can report your child's absence on the parent portal, by calling the attendance line, or calling the main office! See instructions below.
