In this session, educators will explore the reasons why schools should focus on the cultures of their students. We will discuss the ways that cultural beliefs can impact teaching and learning and the ways in which students’ diverse cultural backgrounds can support their achievement in schools. Participants will utilize tools and resources that they can reference to learn more about their students.
